A while ago, I built this feature section for TipMi. Looking at the varied card sizes, you might think it requires complex positioning or endless Flexbox containers. The secret weapon? CSS Grid with grid-template-areas.
Using Grid for this specific architecture is the easiest, most scalable approach. You get complete two-dimensional control, allowing you to span items across multiple columns and rows seamlessly while keeping the underlying HTML structure incredibly clean and readable.

AI is changing the role of a designerand honestly, I think we are in the age of ideas because of AI.
I beleive AI isn't replaces creativity, but it making it possible to take an idea from your head to something real much faster than ever before.
A few years ago, creating a project like this could have meant bringing together an illustrator, animator, 3D artist, photographer, developer, and several other specialists.
Today, AI gives designers the ability to explore many of those directions themselves.
We experienced this firsthand while working on a laundry ordering system for Celsius Cleaning, Romania.
The existing WordPress experience was difficult to use, and ordering laundry online felt unnecessarily complicated.
So we redesigned the experience around a much simpler flow:

→ Choose the service
→ Build your order
→ Book a pickup

We also worked on the development of the custom WordPress plugin behind the experience.
But what made this project especially fun was the visual direction.
We used AI and a mixed-media style to introduce a playful character into the experience
turning something as ordinary as laundry into something more lively, human, and memorable.
And this is what excites me most about AI.
It gives you more room to experiment.
More directions to explore and more things you can actually bring to life.
AI is expanding what a designer can imagine and create.
