Human by Design.
Here's my design process video and the final design reveal.
For this challenge, I wanted to show that AI doesn't replace creativity,it expands what's possible.
I used Envato AI as my primary creative toolkit to explore ideas, generate a luxury fashion brand identity, create campaign visuals, source premium assets, and even animate parts of the campaign. Every AI-generated output became a starting point, not the final answer.
The real work happened through the creative decisions I made:
Generating and refining the logo concept with Envato GraphicsGen.
Sourcing premium visual assets from Envato Stock.
Refining the brand identity in Figma.
Selecting typography and a color palette that reflected timeless luxury.
Curating visuals that told a cohesive brand story.
Using Envato Video Gen and Figma Motion to bring the campaign to life.
This project is a reminder that while AI can generate endless possibilities, taste, intuition and creative direction remain uniquely human.

Every AI tool can generate images.
The real creative work is deciding what to keep, what to reject, and what to refine.
For this project, I started with a single reference image and used Envato AI Workspace to build a complete character sheet, ensuring Dante remained visually consistent from every angle before creating the final cinematic sequence.
The first generations were technically impressive, but they didn't feel like the character I imagined. The pacing was off, the camera language lacked tension, and the emotion wasn't there. Instead of accepting the results, I refined the prompts, reworked the shot direction, adjusted the cinematic pacing, and treated the prompt like a film storyboard until every frame supported the same story.
My Human by Design moment wasn't generating the video, it was knowing when the AI was wrong and having the creative instinct to guide it toward the vision I had in mind.
AI generated the visuals.
Human judgment shaped the story.

Human by Design
Every meaningful design begins with inspiration, but it becomes valuable through human creativity, judgment, and refinement.
For this project, Envato was my primary creative toolkit. I began by exploring hummingbird photography and creative assets from Envato to research the subject, understand its form, movement, and visual character. These references helped shape the initial creative direction of the project.
I also used AI as part of my exploration process to generate visual ideas, experiment with different branding directions, and quickly evaluate concepts. However, AI was only a creative assistant—not the designer.
The final logo was not copied from any reference or AI output. I redesigned the concept from scratch, refined the composition, simplified the forms, adjusted the proportions, selected the typography, developed the color palette, and created a complete visual identity based on my own creative judgment.
One important Human by Design moment came when I decided not to follow the first AI-generated direction. Instead, I simplified the symbol, improved its balance, and created a cleaner identity that better represents a modern café brand. That decision came from design experience and human taste—not AI.
Finally, I applied the identity across realistic brand touchpoints, including signage, packaging, uniforms, menus, takeaway cups, and promotional materials to demonstrate how the brand works in the real world.
AI helped me explore possibilities. Envato provided the creative resources. But every important creative decision—from concept refinement to the final brand identity—was directed and completed by me as the designer.
Human by Design means technology can support creativity, but human vision is what gives it meaning.

They want to watch you take Envato's library into a real project, in whatever tool you work in, and show the decisions you made along the way. The walkthrough is the entry. The final asset is just the evidence.
So here's mine: Marigold°, a brand identity for a summer general store that doesn't exist. Nighty and Swash Daisy for the type, Elements photography setting the visual standard, paper, grain and Envato Audio in the final work.
I curated stock into a standard before generating a single image, then rejected every AI generation that didn't belong and put it together.
