A website can look great on a laptop and still be awkward to use on a phone.
For an e-commerce site, I would check the whole shopping flow on a small screen: can someone find a product, read the details, change the quantity and reach checkout without zooming or hunting for a button?
A few small details matter: clear form labels, useful error messages, readable text and buttons that are easy to tap. Test an empty cart and a failed form submission too, not just the happy path.
These are the practical details I want to bring to my web-development work. You can see my ZA Fragrance website project in my portfolio.
What is one mobile website detail that makes you leave?
