We are entering a strange era for designers.
A machine can now generate a polished presentation in minutes.
It can suggest layouts. Write headlines. Create illustrations.
Summarize research. Build visuals. And soon, much more.
So what happens to the designer? I don't think the answer is “nothing.”
I think the job gets harder. Because when everyone can produce something that looks good, looking good becomes the minimum.
The valuable designer becomes the person who can look at 30 pieces of information and say:
“These are the 3 things that actually matter.”
The person who can turn complexity into clarity.
The person who knows when a chart is better than a paragraph.
When removing something makes the entire presentation stronger.
AI can generate options.
Taste decides which option deserves to survive.
And honestly?
That's a future of design I'm excited about.

THE ATTENTION GAP 1 — A speculative advertising campaign for ElevenLabs.
AI has made creative production almost limitless.
But when everyone can create more, creation stops being the scarce resource.
Attention is.
This campaign explores that tension through a six-part visual progression — from abundance and sameness to humanity, silence and finally a question:
What deserves to be heard?
The project is not anti-AI. AI is the medium and the context.
The creative challenge was deciding what to generate, what to reject, and ultimately, what to leave empty.

Six years later, my design taste has changed quite a bit — and so has the way I approach websites.
There are definitely things here I’d redesign today.
But there are also a few decisions I still genuinely like.
Funny how revisiting old work can show you both how much you’ve changed and what you got right.
