Got a message from a client this week. Site I built for them mid-2024 had an issue after they made some CMS changes. We hopped on a call and I fixed it in under an hour. Back live (https://www.thirdsettlements.com/) same day. First time something's broken since launch. They've been managing the site on their own for months because I did a proper handoff when we wrapped - Loom walkthrough showing them how everything works, documentation they can reference. When issues pop up, they're usually quick fixes because the setup was done right and I'm around when they need me. Being available after launch matters. Sites evolve, things break sometimes. Supporting clients through that is part of the job.
