Down to the wire lol. This is my friends business and I asked her what she would want/need in app. Had to go to her store to follow up and she really did not have any initial thoughts besides and reward app. So I created an app to help her build community among customers along with giving them rewards.
Her current footprint are a website, eventbrite and social media.

We are also planning so collaborative events later, so I was thinking about what was coming down the pipeline as well as she has been operating recently while building.
I am hoping that we can actually use this app or similar in her operations.

That makes a lot of sense. Designing for the collaborations and events she plans to run next gives the app more long-term value than a standalone rewards feature. I hope you’re able to test it in the real business and keep shaping it around how her community actually uses it.
