PROJECT TITLE: THE LAST SIGNAL — A Cinematic Sci-Fi Mystery Pilot

STORY & CONCEPT

I created an original cinematic science-fiction mystery pilot centered around Vayr Kessen, a 21-year-old reality investigator whose past has been mysteriously erased.

The story follows Vayr as he investigates a strange signal appearing in a futuristic city at night. While moving through a rain-soaked neon environment, his mechanical compass suddenly activates and begins reacting to an unexplained distortion in reality.

As Vayr follows the signal, reality around him starts behaving unnaturally. Streets bend, buildings distort, and a strange opening appears. Vayr discovers that the distortion is connected to a memory he should not have.

CHARACTER DESIGN

Vayr Kessen was designed as the central original character with a distinctive futuristic appearance, controlled personality and mechanical compass that becomes an important part of the mystery. His visual identity, clothing, hairstyle and overall character design were developed for consistency throughout the pilot.

VISUAL WORLD-BUILDING

The project features a futuristic neon city, rain-soaked streets, reflections, fog, atmospheric lighting and mysterious technological environments. The visual direction combines dark cinematic environments with electric-blue technology and dimensional-reality effects.

CINEMATIC ANIMATION

The pilot combines character movement, facial expressions, environmental motion, camera movement, lighting, visual effects and cinematic transitions to create a dynamic animated experience rather than relying on static images.

MYSTERY & SUSPENSE

Vayr discovers evidence suggesting that someone deliberately erased his memories. A mysterious recording warns him not to trust the person who finds him. Following his compass, he reaches an abandoned railway tunnel filled with old photographs and discovers an impossible photograph showing him in the same location from decades earlier.

STORYTELLING & CLIFFHANGER

The pilot ends when a mysterious silhouette emerges from a reality distortion and tells Vayr that he was never supposed to remember.

The ending intentionally leaves major questions unanswered about Vayr's past, the mechanical compass, the strange signal and the person behind the erased memories.

CREATIVE GOAL

The goal was to create a compact pilot that feels like the beginning of a larger animated science-fiction series. I combined original character creation, world-building, cinematic animation, dialogue, atmosphere, mystery and visual storytelling into one original sci-fi experience.
