6 months and 66 applications is what it took me to land my first client on Contra π€―

how do you motivate yourself, as an entrepreneur, during the down seasons?
for me, i look back over my work and ensure I remember I have so much to be proud of!
it's been a slow season in my business recently but i am SO proud of many things, including that i'm almost at the next Contra earnings milestone!
what's crazy is, i got a lead from Contra for my biggest retainer check to date in February but they used their own payroll (outside of Contra) so I really have already hit the $50k+ from Contra
but by the end of the year, I will have made $50k ON Contra! π₯ wow, what a dream come true π₯Ή
Looking back at past work is one of the best ways to ground yourself when client work slows down. Rebuilding your portfolio with those proud milestones usually sets up the next big wave of projects.
Its great to spend time on 404 pages, and this one nails it. Good work!
