I’m comparing two versions of the same component: A — With Illustration B — With Icon Both work. They just communicate differently. Which would you choose here, and why?

It really depends on the context. Who it’s for, where it lives in the flow, and how many cards you’re showing. Illustrations can make a card easier to identify, but if you have many cards, icons usually scale better and keep things clearer.

I totally agree with you. There are six cards in this case, so I am just trying to figure out the best way to handle it

Both are clean but Illustration stand out. It gives the UI a premium, custom feel that an icon just can not match. Nice work, Ashiat!
