CARTES DE VISITE reimagines two anonymous Black workers photographed in Brazil between 1864 and 1866. Their images circulated as collectible representations of Brazilian “types,” and "Black types". Preserving their labor but not their names or personal histories. This fictional film imagines what existed outside the frame: love, care, exhaustion and dignity before living people were transformed into commercial images. Created and developed on the FLORA canvas. @floraai #FLORAMuseum

The visual identity draws from scientific documentation, editorial typography, organic textures, and a restrained botanical palette. Numbered observations, specimen records, and archival language establish a visual system that feels both analytical and alive, balancing the precision of documentation with the unpredictability of nature.
Rather than presenting nature as something static to be collected, FLORAE treats it as something to be observed, interpreted, and continuously rediscovered.

The Key Challenge: Maintaining 100% product and character fidelity, preserving the exact woven black cane, crimson leather scrollwork, and gold tassel hardware across every angle and lighting setup.
