could Canva become the place freelancers build, launch, and track client ads from start to finish?
i tried out Canva Grow 2.0 to see how fast i could create a full ad set: starting with a prompt and ending with ready-to-recreate creative.
the biggest win: speed. it helps you move from “blank page” to multiple ad directions quickly, which is especially useful when clients need options.
the caveat: the strategy still matters. Canva can help generate and organize the creative, but the best results still need your perspective, positioning, and understanding of the client’s audience.
for freelancers, i can see this being especially helpful for pitches, quick-turn campaigns, and showing clients what a campaign could look like before investing hours into production.
would you try Canva Grow 2.0 for your next client campaign?
The "shows clients what a campaign could look like before investing hours" point is the real value for me - that's usually the hardest sell in early conversations. Have you found it holds up for more niche/technical industries, or does it work best for lifestyle-type brands?
that is a great question, i would think it would work best for either if you'd give it source information to start vs just the website link like i did
i wanted to stress test it by giving the bare minimum & that was the results so i'd assume it can hold up with niche/technical industries with extra content & information given!
That stress test approach makes sense, feeding it the bare minimum is a good way to see where the tool actually earns its keep versus where your own input still carries the work. Appreciate you sharing the results, that's genuinely useful to know before recommending it to clients.
I don't know why I just couldn't find myself using it properly. I've tried multiple times using Canva, but every time it was just so frustrating for me.
