Case study: I rebuilt an activewear brand's entire storefront in 8 weeks — here's what happened to their revenue.
The client had a big problem. $4M/year in sales, but 71% of shoppers were abandoning their cart. Their Shopify theme loaded in 4.6 seconds. Every flash sale crashed the server.
Here's what I built and what changed:
→ Migrated from a legacy Liquid theme to a fully headless Next.js storefront
→ Implemented ISR so product pages load in under 400ms — even during traffic spikes
→ Built an optimistic slide-out cart that skips the 1.5s Shopify API delay entirely
→ Set up a Facebook CAPI proxy to recover conversion tracking lost to ad blockers
→ Gave the marketing team a Sanity CMS visual builder so they never need a dev again
My feed on X is full of impressive motion videos made with Claude, so I decided to try Opus 5.5 for the FTCG project. I asked it to create a dynamic video inspired by the FTCG game. The initial prompt was incredibly simple, and it took only an hour or two of experimentation to refine the result and add sound as the finishing touch. Not bad at all.
