I want to share a journey that I started recently. My goal here is to redo my portfolio using an entirely AI workflow. As I move along my project, I will be posting here my thoughts about the AI tools I'm using.

I've been running tests on the redesign of my homepage and here are my thoughts so far:

Claude Design: excellent results in the wireframe draft, but it is a token-eating machine. I've been using Fable 5 at High effort (yeah, I know... 😂 )

Claude Code has also excellent results. Still testing the home to decide between the two.

Google Stitch gave me good palette suggestions, but the design draft isn't amazing. It was a good result, though, and quite fast - AND FREE.

Google AI Studio hallucinated in the content and structure of the homepage draft, but it created a nice palette. I will probably only use this palette as one of the references for Claude Design

I might test out Codex, but not sure yet if I will need it. This is a preliminary workflow that might change later. For now, my next step is to feed Claude Design and Claude Code with the palettes created by G Stitch and G AI Studio, and provide some other visual references to see what it gives me back.
