Spent the weekend automating something I used to do manually every single day: content creation and posting.
Here's the workflow (built in n8n):
→ Pull content ideas from a Google Sheet (my content calendar) → Feed each row to an AI Agent running on GPT → Agent has memory attached, so it stays consistent across posts instead of sounding like 5 different writers → Agent has tools wired in too, so it's not just generating text in a vacuum — it can pull what it needs and format the output properly → Final output gets auto-posted. No copy-paste. No "let me just tweak this real quick." Done.
The unglamorous truth after 15 years of building software: the value isn't in the AI part. It's in the boring plumbing — the sheet as a single source of truth, the memory node keeping tone consistent, the trigger that actually fires reliably. That's the 80% of the work nobody screenshots.
I used to spend 45 min/day writing and scheduling posts. Now I spend 5 min updating a spreadsheet.
If you're still doing this manually, you're not being more "authentic" — you're just doing unpaid ops work.
Happy to share the workflow structure if anyone wants to build their own version.
