Waterproof Electronic Enclosure Design | CAD Modeling & DFM Engineering
I designed a compact waterproof electronic enclosure from concept to manufacturing-ready CAD, with a focus on durability, assembly, and production feasibility. The enclosure features a precision-fit housing, integrated screw bosses, embossed/debossed branding, and a compression O-ring sealing system engineered for reliable water and dust protection.
The project included detailed 3D CAD modeling, exploded assembly views, section analysis, seal groove optimization, tolerance considerations, and realistic product visualization to validate fit, function, and manufacturability before prototyping. Every feature was developed with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles to simplify assembly, improve part consistency, and reduce production risk.

This logo mark began with research into South African heritage. I kept returning to the country’s flag, especially the green Y-shaped form at its center. I isolated that shape, refined it, and rotated it around a central axis until each piece aligned into one balanced symbol.
The result feels warm, natural, and rooted in heritage, while still giving the skincare brand a modern and distinctive identity.
Pulling the mark from the flag's Y-shape instead of designing a generic botanical icon is what gives this an actual story. It reads like a flower at first glance but has real meaning behind it once you know where it came from.

Fayes Faerie Stories has been a true labour of love for myself and the client. As both illustrator of the children's book and designer of the website, it has been a pleasure to implement the beautiful and whimsical graphics into the website to continue the magical story online. It was also such a treat to use Squarespace's flexible system to craft a website that works with the magical and colourful illustrations and the characters within the books.

• Finish Layer was used to animate the little fairies, having them appear and / or float in the viewing space, bringing a sense of whimsy and also drawing the eye to important areas of the website. It was also used sparingly on other areas to drop the book into the viewing space and feature key notifications about the launch of the book.
