Came to @figma Config for the new features. Left with something else entirely.
Small talk that turned into deep conversations. Designers lifting each other up. Laughs. Real connections. The kind you don't plan for.
I used to think the metal music community was the strongest community out there. Turns out I found a second home when I left the live music world. One where being different is a feature, not a bug, and where we feed each other.
I spent years thinking people like me, with no design background, self-taught, came from nowhere, didn't belong here.
The more people I meet, the more I realize there's no single path. Just a shared destination.
