I really need to know what y’all think of Pantone’s colour of the year 👀
A whisper of tranquility and peace in a noisy world.
This color it encourages true relaxation and focus, letting creativity breathe and innovation surface.
I quickly redesigned the hero sections of Netflix, Google, Tesla, and Apple using Cloud Dancer , and honestly… it’s not that bad.
Which version is your favorite? 👇

Not white, not grey, nice, cloudy, creamy, calm (wow 3 Cs btw 😅) color, doesn't look that muted also, has character for sure, great explorations! 👍

I actually like it in this context. As a dominant brand color it might be too soft, but as a background tone it lets content breathe imo

i'm a basic girly so white is simple enough that i see it, i like it! haha my wedding was white & black themed if that's any indication of how minimalist i am though HAHA
IDK I feel like it's giving landlord special. Somewhat feels bleak, if that makes sense? Very indicative of the current state of things.
It is a pretty color though! I just can't shake the feeling of mundanity.
The first thing I thought when I saw the Pantone color of the year was “yeah it could be nice on backgrounds” haha I think the Apple one fit the best

What about using the red from the Netflix logo for the 'get started' etc. that would give it a peace feel.
I like the blue for the google, the other two blue to me are too traditional looking.
The Google one looks super clean! That mocha tone is so calming. Did you find it tricky to balance with the existing brand colors?

Cloud Dancer is a tricky one — it's subtle enough to feel refreshing but also easy to get wrong if the surrounding palette isn't well considered. The Netflix concept probably works best here since their brand can handle that level of softness. Curious to see the Tesla one though — feels like the most unexpected pairing.
