As a creative with ADHD, I turn to slow breathing exercises when my mind’s too busy. This Jitter animation is inspired by those moments and aims to regulate the nervous system.

It’s designed for use in a wellbeing app to support anyone who feels overwhelmed, especially neurodivergent or anxious users. The looping animation guides steady breath-work: 5 seconds in, 5 seconds out, with a 2 second pause.

The circular shapes are inspired by blood cells and the role of oxygen in stress management. Soft blue gradients and the “Salsa” typeface make it more approachable.

I also made a simple GarageBand track with gentle and steady tones, increasing attention without distraction.

This was my first time using Jitter 😊

Quick question: did you notice the audio glitch in the MP4, or did you preview it in Jitter where it plays as intended?
