Designing a website that lets the art speak.
Not every project needs loud animations or flashy interactions.
For Central Valley Art, the goal was to create an experience that quietly supports the work itself.
The website brings together films, exhibitions, artists, and community initiatives into a clean, editorial-inspired experience where every page encourages visitors to slow down and explore.
Some of the design decisions included:
✓ An editorial-inspired layout that prioritizes storytelling. ✓ Spacious typography and generous whitespace that allows artwork to take center stage. ✓ A flexible structure that can continue growing with new exhibitions, films, and artists. ✓ A responsive Webflow build that is easy for the team to update over time.
Working on projects like this reminds me that good design isn't about drawing attention to itself.
It's about creating the right environment for meaningful work to be seen.
If you're an artist, filmmaker, gallery, museum, nonprofit, or cultural organization looking for a website that reflects the heart of your work, I'd love to chat. #WebDesign #Webflow #CreativeDirection #MuseumDesign #FilmWebsite #ArtsOrganization #IndependentFilm #EditorialDesign #DigitalStorytelling
