Project Overview
Tele-Tra is a connected-device monitoring platform that brings device and machine data into one central system. It supports the full telemetry workflow, from receiving raw messages across different communication channels to making normalized readings available for monitoring, alerts, dashboards, and analytics.
Client Challenge
The client needed to manage a diverse fleet of connected devices, each potentially sending data through different transports and payload formats. This made it difficult to consolidate telemetry, configure device-specific measurements, monitor activity consistently, and act quickly when readings or device conditions required attention.
Solution Delivered
A modular, microservices-based platform that accepts telemetry over MQTT, HTTP, and TCP. The system identifies the source device, interprets incoming payloads using configurable decoders and metric mappings, validates and normalizes readings, and makes the resulting events available to downstream services. This creates a consistent foundation for device management, monitoring, rule evaluation, alerting, and analytics.

Ferro Type is the one I would open first. Bending a variable font under the pointer re-lays out the text every frame, which is a much bigger bill than it looks, and stepping the weight in a few fixed increments is usually what keeps it smooth on a laptop that is not plugged in....
I helped build Heap’s Developer Portal from the ground up, creating a dedicated experience for developers and partners to build, configure, and manage integrations with Heap.
Before the portal, integration development relied more heavily on internal processes and support from Heap’s team. The goal was to make the ecosystem more self-service by giving developers the tools and guidance they needed to work independently.
I owned significant frontend work across the portal experience, translating technical integration workflows into a product that was approachable, scalable, and easy to navigate. I worked closely with product, design, and backend engineering to define workflows, establish reusable UI patterns, and make the developer experience feel like a cohesive part of the Heap product.
The portal helped increase organically created integrations by roughly 40% while reducing integration-related support tickets by about 25%.
