Good code solves today’s requirement. Good architecture makes tomorrow’s requirements easier to build.
When SaaS products grow, tightly coupled code often turns seemingly small features into risky changes.
I focus on designing systems with clear boundaries, maintainable APIs, scalable data flows, and architecture that can evolve with the product.
And that doesn’t automatically mean microservices.
Sometimes the best solution is a clean modular monolith. Sometimes services need to be separated. The architecture should follow the actual business and scaling requirements—not the trend.
If your SaaS platform is becoming harder to extend as it grows, that’s exactly the kind of engineering problem I enjoy solving.
