What if nineteenth-century botanical artists could illustrate the gardens of tomorrow? Inspired by historical botanical artwork from The Metropolitan Museum of Art, this project reimagines the elegance of vintage scientific illustrations through futuristic greenhouses, extraordinary plants, and imaginative urban gardens. Using a custom Recraft Style, I aim to unite antique engraving details, delicate botanical forms, and muted natural colours in a cohesive series of modern illustrations. The Forgotten Garden of Tomorrow celebrates the beauty of nature while exploring how historical art can inspire visions of the future.
