I tried experimenting with AI prompts for Thee Couture's branding process and it came out a lot more sharper than I expected.
My primary source of inspiration came from Thee's brand book and its visual moodboard. From there, it was simply a matter of precise AI prompting and a true understanding of Thee's identity.
Through multiple rounds of navigating the process of AI prompting, I was able to figure out the distinctive line that differentiates efficient use of AI from a triter function that does not truly communicate its true potential.

Earlier this year, I redesigned Orbital Catering. (One of the leading catering companies in Manhattan).
Their clients are some very well known enterprise companies, and they came to me because they looked like it was still 2010 and like a designer had never touched their website...
I gave them new positioning, a new website, and a rebrand that reflected their scale and, MOST IMPORTANTLY, made the company stand out in their space
Most catering websites I looked at during the project looked almost indistinguishable from each other, with no real design language and just boring (which definitely isn’t a sign of being enterprise-level).
2 months after launch, they hit RECORD sales and improved every meaningful metric (bookings, direct orders, time on page, scroll depth)
This is one of my most successful client cases this year, and I can confidently say that design made the difference and took them to the next level.
The whole journey and the results were measured.
I’m incredibly proud of this case because it shows, in a very concrete way, how much the right design matters for a serious business ❤️

Which would perform better? 🍩
I created both of these visuals with AI for a client project, and I’m curious what the Contra community thinks.
The goal is not necessarily to choose the “prettier” image, but the one that would be more effective for a food/dessert brand on social media.
A: Lifestyle-focused, with the product being consumed + an Instagram/social proof element B: More playful and product-focused, using the donuts as the main visual hook
If you were choosing one for a paid social campaign or organic Instagram content, which one would you bet on?
And if you have second, I’d love to know why. Is it the composition, visual hook, product appetite appeal, storytelling, or something else?
Both are AI-generated, so I’m also curious whether that affects your perception of the creative.

Option A is a total winner for paid ad performance! Lifestyle storytelling combined with a social proof hook instantly builds trust and drives conversions, whereas Option B is great for top of funnel organic feeds. Both look amazingly seamless for AI visuals 🍩✨
An early taste of Senses, a skincare identity built around the shift from overstimulation to comfort. The system pairs a fluid wordmark with clinical typography and an olive-glass form designed to feel precise, tactile, and quietly luxurious.
For this Hydration Serum study, I placed the same object between two sensory extremes: humid moss and sun-warmed sand. One speaks to replenishment; the other, to the need for it. Which world draws you in?
