Something I keep relearning after 20 years of delivery work: the clients who close fastest are the ones who were already reading me before they reached out.
Not cold leads. People who saw how I handled a broken launch or a production fire, sat with it for a while, and messaged when their own project hit the same wall. The discovery call confirms the decision. It doesn't start it.
So here's what I'm building toward, openly.
I run delivery at Galindo Consulting Group. 475+ software products shipped across SaaS, AI, fintech, e-commerce, web, and mobile, owning everything from scoping through QA, launch, and production debugging. The projects I want more of are rescues: delayed launches, MVPs that broke, production issues nobody can trace, delivery that stalled and nobody can say exactly why.
We're testing a paid Rescue Assessment for exactly those situations. It covers the bottleneck, the risks, the recommended fix, a delivery plan, and an estimate. When it makes sense, it gets credited toward the larger engagement.

Practical diagnostic
Before buying another tool, ask one question:
Where does the work actually stall?
Not where the dashboard says it stalls. Where people wait, re-enter information, hunt for context, or chase an approval.
That answer usually matters more than a long software wish list.
My first step on an automation project is to map the real handoffs. The goal is not to automate everything. It is to remove avoidable work without creating a new mess.
If you can describe the process in five sentences, I can usually spot the first useful improvement.

This is a fictional example of a release-day handoff for a small creative team. It starts with the kind of process a lot of small creative teams already have: the important rules are there, but approvals, file links, credits, last-minute changes, and timing details are scattered across notes instead of living in one place.
I turned those notes into one handoff that runs from final approval through publication and a final check that the live links actually work. It spells out who owns each step, what has to be ready before the handoff starts, when the process needs to stop, and where a missing decision has to go back to the team instead of being guessed through.
For example, the source says credits have to be checked before scheduling, filenames should not change once links are recorded, and the announcement cannot go out if the destination link is broken. I kept those rules, along with the roughly 30-minute post-launch check. The source did not say exactly when the scheduling cutoff was, whether a fallback video format was approved, or who should make the final call on a creative-direction change, so I left those decisions open instead of making up answers.
What I want this sample to show is pretty simple: documentation is useful when it turns scattered process knowledge into something another person can actually run without guessing.
