Something I keep relearning after 20 years of delivery work: the clients who close fastest are the ones who were already reading me before they reached out.
Not cold leads. People who saw how I handled a broken launch or a production fire, sat with it for a while, and messaged when their own project hit the same wall. The discovery call confirms the decision. It doesn't start it.
So here's what I'm building toward, openly.
I run delivery at Galindo Consulting Group. 475+ software products shipped across SaaS, AI, fintech, e-commerce, web, and mobile, owning everything from scoping through QA, launch, and production debugging. The projects I want more of are rescues: delayed launches, MVPs that broke, production issues nobody can trace, delivery that stalled and nobody can say exactly why.
We're testing a paid Rescue Assessment for exactly those situations. It covers the bottleneck, the risks, the recommended fix, a delivery plan, and an estimate. When it makes sense, it gets credited toward the larger engagement.
If you're in that spot, or you know a founder who is, here's what I need to tell you quickly whether it's a fit: the bottleneck as you see it, your target date, your current stack, and your budget range. Four things. If we're not a match I'll say so, and you'll still walk away with a clearer picture of your problem than you came in with.
Curious how others here handle this: do you qualify projects before the first call, or figure out fit live?
