HALYX L1: exploded-view product film for a LiDAR sensor (concept, 3D, code-rendered)
A 22-second product film for a fictional compact LiDAR sensor. The device assembles in a hero shot, explodes into six labelled components (housing, edge processor, motor, laser array, optical window, cap), snaps back together, then scans a warehouse: 32 laser channels sweep the room and the point cloud builds up with the real ring and shadow patterns a spinning LiDAR produces. Ends on a payoff line and logo. The brand, product and specs are invented for this concept; the scan is a ray-cast simulation, not real data. Direction and QA by me; built with AI assistance and fully code-rendered (Three.js with physically based materials and bloom, headless browser, FFmpeg), with a soundtrack synthesised in code. The same pipeline can show your own product in exploded view from CAD or reference photos.
