E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trust) isn't a ranking factor you can "ADD" to a page, but it absolutely shapes how Google's quality raters (and increasingly, algorithms) evaluate your content.
How I build it into client sites: → EXPERTISE: first-hand detail that couldn't be written by someone who's never done the thing (real photos, specific processes, honest limitations) → EXPERIENCE: author bios with real credentials, linked to genuine profiles → AUTHORITATIVENESS: other reputable sites referencing or linking to you → TRUST: HTTPS, transparent business info, accurate contact details, real reviews
This matters most in YMYL spaces: healthcare, finance, legal. I ran one healthcare client's SEO strategy almost entirely through an E-E-A-T lens, and it's a big part of why they grew first-page keyword rankings by 971% in a niche where Google is deliberately harder to satisfy.
EEAT isn't a checklist. It's a filter Google applies to decide whether your content deserves to rank at all.
