Booking a dog groom shouldn’t take 14 WhatsApp messages. 🐾
Meet Flor, an independent mobile dog groomer in my city, Bahía Blanca, Argentina. She spends her days grooming dogs inside her converted van, so replying to booking requests often takes hours. Scheduling means checking each dog’s needs, coordinating routes by neighborhood, and manually confirming appointments.
That inspired me to build Turneto for the #lovablechallenge: a booking app for independent at-home groomers.
Dog owners can find a groomer who covers their neighborhood, choose a slot, and book online. Groomers get organized routes, automatic reminders, and a waitlist to fill cancelled slots.
Less back-and-forth. More belly rubs.

The goal: easier booking for clients, less scheduling work for me.
The app creates their Zoom meeting, sends their confirmation, schedules reminders, and lets them reschedule or cancel.
The client’s part? Pick a time. Enter a name and email. Done.
I built this for Mathias Media, my website and app studio in Minneapolis, as part of @Contra’s #lovablechallenge.
With Lovable, I built around how I actually work: consultations Tuesday through Thursday, a maximum of three calls a day, and buffers between appointments. The app handles those rules while keeping booking simple.

Baking the Tuesday to Thursday, three calls max rule right into the app is the smartest part of this imo. Most booking tools make you bend around them. Have clients noticed the limits or does it just quietly feel like you're in demand?

So I rebuilt his booking flow in @Lovable : live pricing from real car condition, gate codes and access info captured up front, and one-click rain-day rescheduling.
