"Turning environmental waste into powerful sensors 🌱💧 A sustainable innovation for detecting water pollution."
This study presents an innovative eco-friendly electrochemical sensor for detecting methylene blue in water. The sensor is based on a modified carbon paste electrode using argan oil cake waste combined with zinc oxide nanoparticles.
The results show a significant improvement in sensitivity, with a very low detection limit (0.06 nM), making it highly effective for monitoring water pollution.
This approach highlights the potential of sustainable materials in developing low-cost and high-performance environmental sensors for real-world applications
