Just wrapped a project I'm proud of: a full retail sales analysis, built three ways - SQL, Power BI, and Python.
The interesting part wasn't the charts — it was what the data revealed: the product category generating the MOST revenue was actually the LEAST profitable. Revenue and profit tell very different stories, and that's exactly the kind of insight that changes business decisions.
I also built an interactive Power BI dashboard and a supply-chain optimization model (linear programming) — pulling on my Operations Research background to go beyond basic reporting into forecasting and optimization.
