One of my favorite summer projects to date.
This was actually one of my first projects Contra featured on their homepage, which still makes me smile when I think about it.
Midpoint Rec needed an identity that felt relaxed, chic and a little playful. I built a set of illustrations that landed somewhere between doodle and chic. Been wanting to do something in this same spirit again soon.

Who else is already feeling the shift that comes right before summer? 🌴
For me this year it feels different. Q3 I'm launching my rebrand and new website, and the energy behind it is all about new beginnings.
One of the core inspirations for the new direction is duality. I've always lived between worlds. I'm from Panama but built my studio in Barcelona. I'm highly strategic but deeply visual. So many parts of me exist in contrast, and somehow that tension is exactly where my work lives.
So this is how my summer looks. A mix of Caribbean and Mediterranean.
Fruit that bleeds colour. Heat that has more than one language.

NEW ENERGY ALERT
As we leave autumn 🍂 and head into winter🧣 here in Argentina, I keep thinking about how much freelancing celebrates momentum, growth, and doing more.
For the past months I have been chasing momentum and design frenzy, however, after being at the verge of burnout this season, I am aiming for something different: consistency & peace of mind.
I used motion blur in this visual to represent transition instead of rushing forward. Because sometimes the best thing you can bring to your work is not more energy but less noise.
