CAX Engine — Visualizing the War for Craftsmanship in Pure C
Project: CAX Engine - C Static Site Generator Live: https://cax.axcora.com Role: Concept / Art Direction / Teaser Trailer Core Idea: Back to Basic War - Pure C vs Factory Bloat
The Problem: "Why Cax? Because the web became a factory fire — 300MB of node_modules to render a paragraph." Modern SSGs are powerful but bloated. They come with runtime overhead, large directories, and slower builds.
The Solution: CAX
Written entirely in C. Single 1.2MB binary. Sub-second builds. Output so clean you can read it like a blueprint. No runtime. No tracking.
Visual Concept: WASTELAND ATELIER
I directed this teaser as a post-apocalyptic survival film.
The protagonist is a scavenger artisan. Her hair is intertwined with dead wires, gears, and roots - the remnants of the JavaScript factory world that collapsed. Her armor is rusted, hand-stitched, functional. She is alone in a burning, ruined city (the modern web).
Her actions tell the CAX story:
Crawling in Rubble (0:03): Emerging from the ruins of bloated frameworks.
Levitation (0:06): Ascension not through magic, but through pure, lightweight code. She defies the gravity of bloat.
Running with a Sword (0:27): The war to restore craftsmanship. She runs towards the future, not away.
Sitting on the Ruin (0:54): Contemplation. Longevity. A tool that will still work in 20 years. A hand-bound journal in a world of disposable factories.
Philosophy: "Forged for writers, engineers, and ateliers who value longevity over trends. Markdown in, timeless HTML out."
CAX is not nostalgia. It is survival.
