Client red flags?
Just had a potential client share a 2 page google doc of updates they wanted on their site and told me it should only take an hour 🙃
I told them if they want it done properly it will at minimum be a 3hr job!!

@Victoria Price-King I tend to see from the perspective that if it takes 2 pages for the changes to be specified, it will most certainly be a demanding work.

@Victoria Price-King Whenever a new client jumps in giving me THEIR time estimate for a job, I either do not even bother replying or send them an "explanation" of how design works that might (or might not) include swearing and curse words

I highlighted a few of the tasks they had listed and let them know those things alone would likely take 40mins each at a minimum
@Victoria Price-King That's crazyyyyy 😅 I let them know what can realistically be done within one hour, but clarify that anything beyond that would either require more time or a broader scope. I’ve found that framing it this way helps protect the quality of the work without getting stuck in unrealistic expectations.
