Where’s the one-click magic? Let’s admit it, we all had that expectation that AI would arrive and suddenly everything could be done in one click That didn’t happen
The narrative that AI would replace creative professions proved to be far from reality. And very toxic
There’s still no universal tool that can do everything I need. So I have a million and one subscriptions, each handling something specific
I’ll explain through my image workflow, since it’s the most illustrative example:
1. Prompt → ChatGPT 2. Generation → Midjourney 3. Upscale → Pixelcut or Magnific 4. Post-processing → Photoshop AI 5. Mockup → Illustrator or Nano Banana
Would I love to avoid all this jumping between tools? Absolutely Can I skip it and sacrifice quality? No
The tools are powerful, but the magic is still in our creative hands🖤

That line says everything. The one-click magic narrative was always going to be toxic because it completely erases the thinking, iteration and craft that makes good work actually good. AI changed the tools but it did not change the fact that building something worth using still takes real effort and judgment.
