Okay, we know what makes the Discovery score go up, but what makes it go down?! 📈📉
Yesterday I was at 201.
Logged on just now and noticed I'm at 189. 🤔
Has anyone else seen downward movement? 😅

@Vaibhav Khulbe clients give rating of 1-5 when after a project (similar to what you provide to clients). We factor this into the review score which is part of your discovery score!

Is a "negative rating" a sub-par rating? Anything less than 100 percent?
How is the activity calculated? Daily or something like a weekly moving average?

@Carolyn Marie I’ve been seeing a few of posts about this but haven’t experienced it. I didn’t know such a thing was possible. Have you experienced it of recent? And do you know what causes the decrease? Just inactivity?
@Racheal James It was an isolated incident resulting from bugs that were being worked out in the system and resulted in a slight drop for all of the users at that time. Should be stable now and if anything weird happens Contra support can look into it. 🧐

@Michael Adebambo @Carolyn Marie Optimize your profile Add services and projects. Make sure to use high resolution images. Ask for review from past clients and collaborators. Engage in community posts like these. This is what took mine from 0 to 41 in a few hours. hope it helps

@Favour Stephen Yes! You're correct. Activity is one of the many factors which contribute to the Discovery score.
The best way to drill into your metrics and how to improve them is to click on the part that says "Discovery score". Clicking the down caret will only show a couple highlights, but...

@Sumedha that particular instance was the team making some updates that temporarily caused the score to blip down. I think the scores can go down, but it would take a significant period of inactivity to change. (I've not seen it happen yet and I'm far from the most active...
