Your Product Isn't the Hero of Your Copy. Your Customer Is. Your customers aren't looking for a list of features. They're looking for a reason to care. Imagine you're selling a coffee maker. You could write: “Our coffee maker has a programmable timer and a stainless steel heating plate.” It's accurate, sure. But does it give the customer a compelling reason to buy? No. Now, consider this: “Wake up to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee blessing your mornings.” Same product. Different approach. The first describes what the product has. The second explains how those features can improve the customer's experience. It makes them want the product, not just evaluate it. That's a fundamental principle of copywriting: connect what you're selling to what your audience actually values, what they actually want. Here's simple way on how to do it: 1. Identify the feature. What does the product do or offer? 2. Translate it into a benefit. How does that feature help the customer? Using the customer's feelings, memories, and experiences is a great way of doing so. 3. Make it relevant. Why should this particular audience care? The key is to communicate the practical value without promising something the product can't deliver. And here's something worth remembering: features aren't the enemy. Customers sometimes need specifications to compare products and make informed decisions. The problem is listing features without explaining why they matter. Effective marketing copy combines both: the facts that build understanding and the benefits that make the offer relevant. Because people don't just want to know what a product does. They want to understand what it can do for them.

Most of the design work in Publizo is stuff you never see on screen.

Take credits. The obvious way to build an AI writer is to write the article first and publish it after. But if your WordPress password expired or a token was revoked, the publish fails and you've already paid for an article that went nowhere.

So Publizo checks the connection to your site before it writes a word. If it can't publish, it stops, tells you what's wrong, and doesn't charge a credit.

Same with images. AI-generated photos are easy to spot, and stock photos repeat fast on a niche blog. Publizo uses real photos and keeps track of them per site, so the same photo never shows up twice on one blog.

And every article is saved to your library before it goes out. If the site times out halfway through, you still have the full piece, the image and the SEO fields.

None of this shows up in a feature list. It's what had to be right before I'd let it publish to my own three sites every day.

checking credits before the publish step is a quietly smart order of operations
