Small thing I've started doing before starting work on any new business — I ask them one question first: "What's one thing about your business you wish you knew right now, but don't?"
Almost everyone has an answer. Which product actually makes money after costs. Which customers are about to leave. Which day of the week is quietly their best.
That one answer usually becomes the entire project. Not because I'm guessing what they need, but because they already know their blind spot, they just haven't had a way to see it clearly.

A pattern I keep seeing with B2B marketing teams is this...

What is the biggest challenge you’re facing in freelancing right now?
Even after doing this for years, I feel like there is always something new to figure out.
For some, it might be finding consistent clients. For others, it could be pricing their work, managing time, staying motivated, handling multiple projects, or building a small team.
Sometimes the biggest challenge is not even the work itself, it’s everything around it.
Curious to know: what is the one part of freelancing you’re finding most difficult at the moment?
It's the question I get most — and my honest answer surprises people: I don't chase one.
I get bored fast. The second I feel myself repeating an aesthetic, I lose the thread. So instead of building a signature look, I build a new answer for every brief — shaped by what the brand needs to sell, not what I feel like making that week.
Versatility isn't a lack of direction. It's the direction.
