Hey guys, new here, figured I'd introduce myself and my background as I get more into this field:
I was a professional basketball player for nearly 14 years playing in top leagues all-around the world, it's been a wild ride but as I start to wind down that chapter I've been getting into software development. Programming has been an on and off love affair for me throughout my life but now I want to make it my full time path.
Now I'm fully diving in and have been sharpening my skills for a little over a year. Have already done some freelance work and looking to expand into that even more. Glad to be a part of the community and open to any tips/advice and looking to connect. ✌️

It handles high-throughput event ingestion, validation, batching, deduplication, rate limiting, Kafka-based streaming, consumer groups, real-time aggregations, anomaly detection, alerting, query APIs, Redis hot data, ClickHouse historical analytics, and Slack/email notifications.
