Over 300 years ago, craftsmen created masterpieces where every curve, material, and intricate detail reflected extraordinary artistry.
But imagine if those same craftsmen could see Nigeria in the year 2093. What would our everyday technology look like through their eyes?
While exploring The Metropolitan Museum of Art's public-domain collection, I discovered a beautifully crafted French commode from the early 1700s by André-Charles Boulle.
Using Recraft, I transformed its intricate gold engravings, dark ebony finishes, and luxurious craftsmanship into a futuristic Nigerian world, reimagining kekes, high-speed trains, delivery drones, and modern infrastructure as objects from another era.
Three centuries apart. One vision of the future.
