I designed NEXUS, a futuristic gaming website concept in Figma, built around a bold esports-inspired visual identity. The goal was to create an immersive digital experience that feels powerful, competitive, and unmistakably gaming-focused.
The Challenge
The main challenge was balancing high-energy visuals with a clean and usable interface. Gaming websites can easily become visually overwhelming, so I focused on creating strong hierarchy while allowing the imagery, neon effects, and typography to create the atmosphere.
How I Structured It
The website was structured around:
A bold futuristic navigation bar for simple exploration.
A high-impact hero section with gaming imagery and strong messaging.
Clear primary and secondary CTAs such as Gear Up and Explore Games.
Gaming-focused stats and trust indicators to build credibility.
Strong visual sections for games, gear, and community.
Consistent spacing, typography, cards, and UI elements throughout the experience.
Visual Direction
I used a black, charcoal, and neon-red color system to create the futuristic esports atmosphere. Glowing edges, atmospheric smoke, metallic elements, dramatic shadows, and angular shapes were used to give the interface depth and energy.
Final Feel
The final result feels bold, immersive, futuristic, and competitive. NEXUS was designed to feel less like a conventional gaming store and more like an elite gaming ecosystem something that immediately grabs attention while still maintaining a clear and structured user experience.
