Inspiration Piece: Marble Akroterion (Greek, Classical Period) from the Metropolitan Museum of Art archives.
Concept: An akroterion is an architectural ornament placed at the apex or corners of a classical pediment, designed to draw the eye upward and anchor a structure's visual weight.
This piece inspired "Akroterion Transformation of Time," a conceptual journey that translates ancient structural geometry into wearable armor, tactile metalwork, and finally, a translucent modern glass couture gown for a 2026 Met Gala setting. It explores how classical structural design evolves across millennia while retaining its core symmetry and fierce elegance.

I liked this shield because of its beautiful pattern and shine. It has a detailed design with a human figure in the middle, made from woven cane and shiny shell pieces. It looked like something made to be seen, not just used.
What I made: I turned the shield into a surfboard, but kept its design exactly the same, same pattern, same shine, same figure. I only changed its shape into a board. I picked a surfboard because its long shape already matches the shield's shape, so it felt like a natural change.
How I made it: I downloaded the Sheild image from Met's open archive, then imported the sheild picture in flora , connected picture with text prompt node, then I connected both picture and text prompt node to the video node and I selected the seedance 2.5 model with 30sec clip, I kept the work flow simple because I am new to flora and I was afraid maybe I may use all the credits before even creating good video, add this in how I made it
Why I made this: I wanted to take this design out of the museum and give it a new life in something people can use and see in motion. I think the shield's pattern is still beautiful enough to belong in The Met today, just now on a different object.

We picked Eirene, the personification of Peace, from The Met.
The idea was simple: when we look at a piece of art, we all imagine something different.
So we played with that. Different people looking at the same sculpture, each one creating their own version of it in their head!

Endless Possibilities — #Flora Museum Challenge
What is this gigantic medieval wine jug doing in the middle of Times Square? Yeah — that’s exactly what I asked myself too, so I decided to find out for myself.
After hours of scrolling the MET artwork collection, I finally stumbled upon a beautiful French wine jug from ca. 1680. Although I didn't have an idea of what I wanted to create with it, I knew I wanted to use this particular jug for my FLORA creation because I found it so visually mesmerizing. Then I thought, hey, what about putting something so classic and elegant into the most modern and urban setting one could think of: Times Square. So I decided to scale the jug in size on FLORA as a first step.
But then the more important question arose… what would its function be in Times Square? To put something that absurd in the middle of an urban setting like NYC, it must have a real reason to be there — to serve a purpose. At that point, an idea sparked; a portal.
Initially, my thoughts were almost fixed on either showing the portal take the viewer back to the medieval times — the era in which the jug was used, or to a Greek mythological world to complement and tell the story of the paintings on the jugs exterior, or maybe even to outer space. But the more I contemplated the idea, I felt like choosing a destination for the portal would limit what the artwork could mean. I was sure that leaving the destination unknown felt more powerful. Rather than defining what exists on the other side, the piece invites the viewer to discover the possibilities for themselves — allowing them to draw their own artwork using their imagination. In the video, the story ends when the portal is discovered and entered — but that’s where the viewer’s story only begins.
Using FLORA made it very easy for me to implement the setting and atmospheric ideas I had in mind for the placement of the jug and the street address in Times Square. FLORA effectively enabled me to translate all my thoughts and brainstorming onto a digital canvas that allowed this cinematic first person viewer's encounter to feel like a moment the viewer could actually experience.
