🚨 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐏𝐂 𝐂𝐓𝐑 𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐆𝐨 𝐔𝐏 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐆𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐒𝐄 This is a metric I watch carefully. Because a higher CTR 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭. More shoppers are clicking. But what happens after the click? Consider this: 𝐁𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝟏𝟎𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝟏,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐬 𝟏𝟎𝟎 𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 CTR: 𝟏.𝟎% CVR: 𝟏𝟎% 𝐀𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟎𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝟏,𝟓𝟎𝟎 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐬 𝟗𝟎 𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 CTR: 𝟏.𝟓% 📈 CVR: 𝟔% 📉 At first glance: “CTR improved by 50%.” But orders actually 𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐲 𝟏𝟎%. You didn't necessarily improve the campaign. You may have simply become better at 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭. 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐈 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐂𝐓𝐑 𝐢𝐧 𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. When CTR changes, I want to know: 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐝? 🔎 Search terms? 🎯 Targeting? 📍 Placement? 🖼️ Main image/title? 💰 CPC? 🛒 Conversion rate? 👥 Type of shopper? Because a stronger CTR is only valuable when the additional clicks produce 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬. My PPC analysis follows the complete path: 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 → 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐬 → 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 → 𝐎𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 → 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐮𝐞 → 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐭 Not just: 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 → 𝐂𝐓𝐑 → “𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫.” 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡: 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐚 𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬. That's why serious PPC management isn't about making dashboards look better. It's about understanding 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜. If CTR rises but CVR collapses, I don't celebrate the CTR. 𝐈 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐚𝐩. 📩 𝐖𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐳𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐏𝐂 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦? Message me “𝐏𝐏𝐂 𝐀𝐔𝐃𝐈𝐓” for Amazon PPC management and optimization.
