AI-Powered RAG Knowledge Base Chatbot | Python • FastAPI • LangChain • OpenAI
Customers often struggle to find accurate answers in lengthy documentation, FAQs, and support articles. Meanwhile, support teams spend valuable time answering the same questions repeatedly.
I designed an AI-powered Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) chatbot concept that allows users to ask questions and receive contextual answers directly from a company's knowledge base.
What I Built
AI-powered conversational chatbot using OpenAI.
RAG architecture for document-based question answering.
Intelligent document processing and text chunking.
Semantic search and vector database integration.
Context-aware responses using LangChain.
Conversation history and session management.
Custom REST API using FastAPI.
Knowledge base document management.
Technical Workflow
Upload PDF, DOCX, and knowledge base documents.
Extract, clean, and divide documents into searchable chunks.
Generate embeddings and store them in a vector database.
Receive user questions through the chatbot interface.
Retrieve relevant document context using semantic search.
Generate contextual responses using the LLM.
Return answers with relevant source references.
Business Benefits
Reduces repetitive customer support inquiries.
Makes company documentation easier to access.
Provides consistent, context-aware answers.
Improves knowledge discovery.
Supports scalable customer service operations.

VentureLens — Venture Lens is an AI agent that turns your raw idea into a good investment using evidence-based sparring.
Instead of putting you through a stale 20-questions test, it asks the one question until it gets your usual answer, makes a short list of recommendations, then combines your data with Qloo’s taste intel and place profiles to create a full, top-to-bottom business brief you can read and download right away as markdown.

Asking one sharp question at a time instead of a 20-question form is the right call. Curious how it decides an answer is good enough to move on, since that's where most validation agents stall or rubber-stamp.
Processing incoming PDF attachments and logging key email data manually takes hours of tedious, repetitive work. Every time a new invoice, quote, or report lands in your inbox, you have to manually open the email, download the PDF, read through dense pages to extract important details, format the data, and log it into Google Sheets row by row.
Which one is faster, saves more time, and prevents mistakes?

The manual-vs-automated framing is clear, but I'm curious how the workflow copes with PDFs that don't share a layout, like scanned invoices versus quotes. Do you parse them with a fixed template or an extraction step, and what happens to rows it can't read confidently?
