Sometimes, when requirements get vague, the best move is to shut off the AI, roll up your sleeves, and return to the fundamentals.
While a rough idea and a "build-as-you-go" approach works for me for most cases, a project like this Compliance Management System i am working on right now required a different level of discipline. Mapping out an ERD first provided a crystal-clear picture of the business logic
I think that while you can refine the architecture as the project evolves, starting with a solid data foundation can prevent technical debt and ensure long-term scalability.
How do you prefer to build? Do you map the entire schema upfront to lock in the logic, or do you prefer the flexibility of building along the way?
Yes exactly i do that as well.. and ended up using ai at the end asking is my workflow is correct and it goes on and onn
The AI validation to ensure correctness at the end is necessery no matter the how skilled you are 😂

I agree with the point about feedback and alignment. New tools can speed things up, but better collaboration is still what makes the work feel clear and move forward smoothly. ( But here's the truth. I don't like Figma. I'm looking for a better alternative.)
Hello everyone to reintroduce myself, I am a Brand Designer & Illustrator, currently aiming to delve into crafting future-forward ideas.
Question regards to this platform, is the usage of AI the only way of actually thriving moving forward, or are there people that is genuinely building visuals + craft without the usage of automation?
I ask, as most challenges is also aimed towards incorporating automation workflows such as kittlr, midjourney, capcut etc. into the process, so is there challenges that aims to reward non-ai workflows at all?

For this challenge, I created a short cinematic ad exploring a problem every founder knows too well — juggling tasks, missing leads, and burning time.
The idea was simple:
