While a rough idea and a "build-as-you-go" approach works for me for most cases, a project like this Compliance Management System i am working on right now required a different level of discipline. Mapping out an ERD first provided a crystal-clear picture of the business logic
I think that while you can refine the architecture as the project evolves, starting with a solid data foundation can prevent technical debt and ensure long-term scalability.
How do you prefer to build? Do you map the entire schema upfront to lock in the logic, or do you prefer the flexibility of building along the way?

Yes exactly i do that as well.. and ended up using ai at the end asking is my workflow is correct and it goes on and onn
