Day 16 of Roasting 30 bad Websites in 30 days to earn $4K.
Throwing back to an old redesign today.
Richard Moore's LinkedIn Workshop landing page.
What was broken:
Giant logo taking up half the hero. The speaker's face is the trust signal, not the brand icon. Nobody buys from a logo.
Wall of bold text everywhere. When everything is bold nothing is bold. My eyes gave up halfway. 😭
Video thumbnail and laptop mockup competing for attention. Pick one visual. One.
What I fixed:
Speaker front and center, because people buy from people. Clean bullet points. One price. One CTA. "Over 1000 people trust us" as social proof right before the button.
Simple. Clear. Buy or don't.
