Nodi - A Reactive Rive Assistant for ComfyUI
Nodi is an interactive Rive character assistant built directly into ComfyUI, a node-based AI workflow tool. It reacts to prompt writing, workflow clicks, settings changes, rendering progress, success, and errors through animation states, glow effects, particles, and contextual UI feedback.

It started as a small mascot experiment and grew into a working assistant inside ComfyUI, a node-based AI workflow tool. Instead of being a standalone loop, Nodi lives inside the product interface and reacts to the user’s creative process in real time.
The assistant responds to prompt writing, workflow clicks, KSampler/settings changes, rendering progress, successful generations, and execution errors. It also includes eye tracking, draggable behavior, contextual status bubbles, blue rendering pulse, red error warning state, purple success glow, particles, and a customizable skin panel.
The goal was to make ComfyUI feel more alive and responsive -turning a static workflow interface into a creative space with a small companion that understands what is happening.
