I just redesigned my website for attabird from the bottom up. And it was about time.
I built my first version about a year ago. It did the job, but I've learned a lot since then and it stopped representing where I am now.
This time I wanted to do something different. Not just show better work or cleaner design, but actually let people see who I am.
Humour is a big part of how I operate. And I think web design, and business in general, could use more of it. Not because we need to be silly. But because we're all just humans doing business together. We want to be seen, acknowledged, and maybe even smiled at.
That feels more important now than ever. You're not always sure anymore if you're talking to a real person or an AI with a person behind it. Everything starts to sound the same. Polished, optimized, and a little bit hollow.
I need to feel like I'm engaging with real people. And I want the people visiting my site to feel the same. So that's what this redesign tries to do. Show the human behind the work. Not just results and fancy words, but the actual person you'd be working with.
Take a look and let me know what you think.
And lastly I just want to thank Webflow and especially Claude for being patient with me, when changing the art direction for the 36th time. 🙈
