One thing I didn’t expect when working on different client projects is how much each one would change how I approach frontend development.
Early on, I thought my job was mostly about building what was in the design. Make it responsive, make it clean, make it work.
But after working with more clients, I realized it’s a lot more personal than that.
Every project comes with a different kind of excitement. Sometimes a client is launching their first business. Sometimes it’s a team rebranding something they’ve built over years. Sometimes it’s an agency trying to deliver something they’re really proud of.
You start to realize that you’re not just building pages — you’re helping bring something important to life.
And that changes how you approach the work.
You pay a little more attention to the details. You ask a few more questions. You think more about how someone will feel when they land on the site for the first time.
Over time, I’ve found that those moments — when a client sees their idea come to life — are easily the most rewarding part of frontend work.
And honestly, every project teaches me something new about how to make that experience even better.
That’s one of the reasons I enjoy working across different projects so much.
What’s something you’ve learned from working on multiple projects?
