Simplicity is king!
In my 5+ years of experience, I’ve learned one thing:
If your store is simple, easy to navigate, and focused on satisfying the customer, you’re already ahead of many competitors.
I’ve worked directly with founders, strategists, and senior decision-makers. And I’ve often seen them want to add more: → More badges → More pop-ups → More discounts → More banners → More messages More doesn’t always mean better.
When a store is overloaded with these elements, it can reduce credibility, weaken the brand experience, and make the customer journey more complicated.
Your customer should not have to “figure out” your store.
They should quickly understand: What is this product? Why do I need it? Which option should I choose? How do I buy it?
Keep the customer journey simple.
My goal is to get the customer to checkout in as few steps as possible: Click 1: Select the product Click 2: Select the variant Click 3: Checkout
Of course, every store is different. But the principle remains the same: Remove unnecessary friction. Find the problems in your customer journey. Fix them. Keep what helps. Remove what distracts.
Because sometimes, the best thing you can add to your store is simplicity.
