This work explores what I call the "right person problem" in conversational AI. Instead of assuming that the person who answers a call is the intended recipient, I argue that AI systems should recognize uncertainty, gather evidence through conversation, and determine whether they are speaking to the correct individual before making decisions. The goal is to build communication systems that are not only more automated, but also more accurate, trustworthy, and context-aware.
