I created a cinematic AI-generated short film using Cantina, exploring how AI can bring original characters and dialogue-driven storytelling to life. The video uses expressive character performances, dramatic close-ups, dialogue, subtitles, and cinematic scene composition to create an engaging narrative experience.
I experiment with AI-powered filmmaking and demonstrate how character design, dialogue, and visual storytelling can come together to create a short cinematic scene. I wanted to move beyond generating isolated visuals and use Cantina as a creative tool for building a story that feels like a moment from a larger film.
This project represents my exploration of AI-assisted filmmaking and the possibilities of creating original cinematic stories through Cantina.

Title: The Artifact (Episode 1: "Home")
Logline: In a world reduced to dust, one man's last inherited object might be the key to something humanity thought was gone forever — a home.
The Artifact follows Jaxson, one of the last people alive in a world where the atmosphere collapsed and civilization was erased down to bare desert. He lives in isolation with his friend James, scavenging meaning from a landscape with nothing left to scavenge — until a single object from his childhood, entrusted to him by his father with the words "when you need a home, you'll find this," turns out to be more than a keepsake.
The pilot opens with Jaxson's own voice defining the stakes of this world: survival without purpose, waiting for an ending rather than living toward anything. That changes the moment he rediscovers the artifact his father gave him. Paired with a map James has been silently piecing together, the two set out across the wasteland to a massive, unnatural circular mark scorched into the desert — a scar too precise to be geological. When Jaxson places the artifact into a socket built to fit it exactly, the ground answers: a buried city rises from beneath the sand, shedding centuries of burial in real time.
The episode ends not with an explanation, but a reveal — deliberately withholding the why. Who built the city? Why was it hidden, and why was the key entrusted to Jaxson's family specifically? Is this discovery a rescue for what's left of humanity, or does it wake something meant to stay buried? James's own unexplained find (the map) raises a second, parallel mystery still unresolved by episode's end, seeding a second character thread beyond Jaxson's.
This pilot is built to expand: the city itself becomes the setting for episode 2, the father's backstory and his connection to the artifact opens a mystery to unravel across the series, and the bond between Jaxson and James — two survivors who've had nothing but each other — gives the show its emotional core as they're forced to navigate whatever they've just uncovered together.

Title: Velune of Mosswhisper Forest
Pilot Episode: Carry the Forest on Your Shoulders
Velune is a tiny magical kitten who lives in Mosswhisper Forest, an enchanted woodland filled with glowing plants, gentle creatures, hidden paths, and little mysteries.
She is curious, sweet, determined, and always wants to help, even when she sometimes believes she has to solve everything on her own. In the pilot episode, Velune finds a broken bridge in the middle of the forest.
On the other side, a little family of snails is trying to get home before sunset. Velune immediately decides she can fix the bridge by herself. She gathers branches, leaves, and vines, but every time she finishes, the bridge falls apart again.
After trying again and again, three beavers appear and offer to help. Velune almost refuses, but finally says yes. The beavers help place the branches, the snails bring strong leaves, and Velune ties everything together with vines. Together, they rebuild the bridge before sunset.
Through this little adventure, Velune learns that asking for help does not mean you are incapable.
The series would continue talking about Velune through Mosswhisper Forest as she meets new creatures, faces small magical problems, discovers hidden places, and learns gentle lessons through each adventure. Every episode would tell its own simple story while gradually revealing more of Mosswhisper and its magical world.
